Hey! I'm back from camp! :)
Hm, I think this 3 day 2 night sec 3 camp at Jalan Bahtera was really tiring and a test of perseverance and endurance. Firstly, the food wasn't rlly good and the water we get to drink is tap water. It was rather gross seeing the instructors putting the hose into the water refill and refilling it with water, and then like we have to drink that water from the hose... Secondly, it was very hot and humid, especially when we were carrying out activities. And it just made me very irritated and uncooperative, so sorry to those I ignored or was rude to! Thirdly, the bathrooms were gross and it just made bathing gross. Fourthly, there were insects and frogs at the camp site!Yepp, all these kinda made me dislike the camp alot and just want to go home asap until the 2nd night onwards, when we had the campfire (: Although previously 3 Loyalty might have had a few disagreements here & there, but I'm glad we managed to come together and resolve our differences and put up a great performance at the campfire! :D Yeah, 'Loyalty Out Loud' is da bomb! I really enjoyed campfire alot, where the entire sec 3 cohort was super high and cheering! I think all the performances by each class were awesome and great to watch :) Also, I think the instructors from 'Camp High Achievers' have done a marvelous job and rlly, thankyou. My class' instructors were Shuxian (group 12) & Weilong (group 13). Camp really helped foster class unity and bring one closer to your friends. Thanks 'big clique' too for making this camp so memorable for me yeah! :D
Okay, camp in general (as far as my memory can go) :
Day 1 - Traveling to Jalan Bahtera, lots of briefings and settling down in our huts (I'm in hut 8). Activity 1 for 3 Loyalty was the 'Navy Seals', where we had to build a raft and try to attack other groups' "lollipop"s with water guns/ water bombs. Haha the game was okay la, but my group kept losing lol. Oh, and had a 'SyNerGistic Leaders with a Passion' talk by Miss Susan Lim too. Uh but I can't remember a single thing about it hehe. Bathing was gross and I clearly remember how long I had to wait and rush to bathe!
Day 2 - 'Challenge Rope Courses' in the morning. I tried the high wall rock climbing and walking on some log. It was quite okay, but takes courage to take the first step (: Hahah, weather was real hot and kept sitting and fanning myself :D 'TEAM Challenge' after lunch. Had to do some activities, like entanglement, some marble game, that required communication, unity, cooperation etc. Haha, my mood was super horrible at this activity ): Took time to practise our class performance for campfire and after dinner it was the great awesome fantastic campfire! :D Everyone were super excited and cheered alot. I think all the classes put in alot of effort and all did very well. Of course, 3L is no exception hehe. I LOVE 3L MAN! :) The instructors in turn, performed the para para dance for us haha. After campfire night, was debrief with instructors Shuxian and Weilong. Thanks alot for everything facilitators (:
Day 3 - After breakfast, had area cleaning, debriefs and scoldings etc. Sang the '爱我圣尼各拉' song and did the 16 st.nicks clap before leaving the camp site. And back to schoollllllll :)
Went home to wash up before meeting big clique (rebecca, crystal, ailynn, wenting, zioedy, wenxia & munnyi) at Causeway Point to 大吃一顿 at Seoul Garden. Haha it was super retarded and hilarious. Wenting was like still in the camp mood and kept doing the hungry cheer lol. Yeah and had a great time eating buffet and making up for the past few days of horrible food hahaha.
